Do I Have Luck

The smell of gas charged through my nose as we sat in the Kal-Tire seating area. While the gas was swimming through the air, an older man glanced my way. Alright, it's not my fault that our car broke down on are way to my cheer competition. My cheer uniform was a green dancer like leotard and a boat load of makeup .Giving the man a mean glare, he looked away. Of course! I’m an hour and our car broke down. This would most likely happen to me. Looks like you don't always win.

Rainy Days

The rain drizzled on my back as I walked home from school. As usual my rain jacket at was home and was forced to walk home with nothing but a pink t shirt. Why did life have to make me live so far! I am  perfect . Ok, maybe I steal my sisters candy, but still I’m good. I stomp in a puddle and watch the clear blue water splash against my mud splattered boots . But in the distance I see it . My house! I ran as fast as I could. As soon as I get there the door opened and there it was . My heater.

Happy Birthday

It was a blazing day. I was at my cabin filled to the brim with excitement because the next day was my  fifth birthday. I decided to play in the little patch of trees by our cabin with my two cousins. As I approached a dark scary tree , I saw something which I though was a pinata . Thinking my family was hiding an pinata from me, I took a  stick and started whacking the  pinata. A gigantic swarm of wasps came flying through the air. I ran to my mother ,she was shocked to see me swelling with pain. My birthday with was spent with polysporin the next day

Burning Down

All I can remember is waking up to the smell of burning firewood , like a summer campfire. The day before this big fire , my boss fired me and told me I deserved a break. I got home and got into my satin nightgown . I lit my candle , put my baby, Sophia, to sleep, and got into bed. The next morning I woke up to the smell of burnt marshmallows and the sound of Sophia crying. My house started to burn during the night.the firemen were there and everyone was safe. I haven't touched a candle since.
